The launch of the
"Romanian Dubai Business Council"
The launch of the “Romanian Dubai Business Council” (RDBC) marks a new era of commercial collaboration between Romania and the United Arab Emirates (Emirate of Dubai).
.
“The relations between the United Arab Emirates and Romania have never been closer or more privileged than they are today. Our recent political and economic dialogue serves as a cornerstone for B2B relations, contributing to our shared goal of peace and prosperity. This objective of cooperation brings us together and motivates us to work hand in hand. I am honored to be here today at the launch of such an important initiative, which begins with an outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, brilliant minds, and energetic people. In this regard, I would like to thank the Chamber of Commerce for its support and all those who envisioned and implemented this project. The Council will bring communities closer, promote bilateral interests, and facilitate business dialogue,” stated Octavian Bădică, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania to the United Arab Emirates.
- The first Roadshow in Romania
.
The first edition of the roadshow, organized by RDBC in partnership with Dubai International Chambers and attended by 20 Romanian companies, was a great success. Although only a few months have passed since the event, one of the Romanian construction companies that participated in our initiative has already secured projects worth 4 million euros and is set to open its first branch in Dubai this month, marking a significant step in its international expansion.Investing in Dubai comes with multiple advantages compared to other regions of the world. The government offers significant support to companies that decide to invest, including reduced taxes and logistical assistance. Dubai is a global hub for trade and investment, a developed multicultural space, recognized both for its prosperous business area and for its superior quality of life, security, advanced infrastructure, high-quality education and efficient transportation.
- The second Roadshow in Romania
.
The main objectives of the new roadshow organized by RDBC include: Strengthening existing partnerships, developing new partnerships and familiarizing with the specifics of the business environment. The itinerary includes key meetings with major corporations, the largest fresh food producer in Hungary and the leader in telecommunications and digital services. These meetings aim to strengthen partnerships and explore new avenues of collaboration in the UAE market. More workshops are scheduled to address industry-specific challenges and opportunities, especially in the construction, medical, food, energy and IT sectors, capitalizing on the information generated by this second visit. “The roadshow organized by RDBC is an integral part of the UAE’s global expansion strategy aimed at consolidating Dubai’s position as a global business hub. In this regard, we provide companies that intend to expand their presence in the Middle East with a full range of services designed to facilitate their rapid integration and development in international markets,” added Genoveva Turcu.
Furthermore, the only private investment fund in Romania has announced the opening of a branch in Dubai and a strategic restructuring, in collaboration with UAE-based consultants, to better serve investors and their portfolios with new products designed and adapted to the evolving global economy. Additionally, a leading IT consortium, with over 1,300 employees and a project portfolio exceeding one billion euros, is ready to deliver innovative solutions to the Middle Eastern market,” stated Genoveva Turcu, founder of RDBC and the Association for Bilateral Economic Development Romania – United Arab Emirates (APEB RO-UAE).”

- ROCA Industry
From Market Research to Strategic Expansion
ROCA Industry, a Romanian investment platform focused on building materials, approached the Romania Dubai Business Council with the vision of expanding into the UAE market. Over the course of six months, we collaborated closely to evaluate local opportunities, conduct market research, and map out a feasible expansion strategy. As a result of our ongoing support, ROCA Industry is now in active discussions with the Dubai Business Chamber and several key industry stakeholders to co-develop a large-scale industrial park in the UAE, marking a major milestone in their international growth journey.
Building UAE’s first Romanian-backed industrial park
Deploying Gulf capital into CEE & Romania's growth markets

- Ajyad Investment
Bridging Capital from GCC to CEE
RDBC played a key role in the early stages, facilitating market exploration, coordinating a pre-feasibility study, and providing strategic guidance that led to the launch of Ajyad’s flagship product: a cross-border venture builder. Unlike ROCA Industry, which is focused on expanding Romanian industrial capacity into the UAE, Ajyad is designed to channel Gulf capital into high-growth projects across Romania and the wider CEE region. The venture builder is jointly held by UAE-based and Romanian stakeholders, with a focus on bilateral investments in sectors such as industrials, tech, and energy. With the first investment already underway, Ajyad stands as a blueprint for smart capital deployment and international collaboration driven by RDBC’s deep-rooted regional knowledge and connections.

- Prime Trust Construction
A Construction Powerhouse Built Through RDBC
Prime Trust Construction was born from the powerful synergy of leaders brought together through the Romania Dubai Business Council and launched with the vision of building the biggest construction company in the UAE. Leveraging the success of Imobiliare Dubai (recognized two years in a row as the top-performing international real estate company in Dubai) the team used RDBC’s platform to connect, plan, and build. Today, Prime Trust holds an elite Unlimited A+ License and operates across multiple high-profile public and private developments, with a workforce of over 700 people. This is more than a company, it’s a statement of what’s possible when top-tier talent, shared vision, and strategic networks align through the RDBC.
Scaling rapidly to become one of Dubai’s top construction companies.
